This is your chance to lead and oversee critical piping and mechanical installation works at a renowned gas storage site in Villeurbanne, France. Role Overview
- Engineering Liaison: Interface with engineering teams to understand project needs and identify on-site requirements, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Piping Installation Leader: Oversee all activities related to piping and mechanical installation works, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Scaffolding Inspector: Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding setups to guarantee compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.
- Project Database User: Utilize project and vendor databases (PDB, VDB) to track progress and manage resources effectively.
- Permit Compliance Guardian: Ensure all work is conducted under Decree 1992 (permit to work) and Decree 94 (restricted environment), maintaining a safe working atmosphere.
- Team Coordinator: Manage on-site teams, providing guidance and support throughout the construction process to ensure timely project completion.
Skills & Qualifications
- Natural Gas Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in the natural gas industry, particularly in construction and revamping projects.
- Piping Proficiency: Extensive experience with piping and mechanical works, including unit shutdowns.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Spanish is appreciated.
- IT Competence: Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, and Office Suite (Word/Excel) to facilitate effective communication and documentation.
Education & Experience
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years in construction and revamping within the gas industry.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Storengy context or similar industrial environments involving buried piping.
