Join our dynamic Hull & Marine Construction Team as a Piping Supervisor and play a pivotal role in the onshore scope of a major gas processing and export project in Turkey. This is an exciting opportunity to lead piping fabrication, installation, and testing activities while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.

Role Overview

  • Supervision & Execution: Oversee piping installation activities for hull and marine systems, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor contractor performance and progress against project schedule and quality requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance on piping fabrication, welding, and installation methods.
  • Resolve site technical queries (TQs) and coordinate with engineering for design clarifications.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all piping works comply with HSE standards and project quality plans.
  • Participate in inspections, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning activities.
  • Coordination: Interface with structural, outfitting, and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and vendors for technical clarifications and material deliveries.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of construction progress, changes, and as-built documentation.
  • Prepare daily reports and communicate updates to the Construction Manager.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Piping: Strong knowledge of piping systems, welding processes, and hydrotesting procedures.
  • International Codes: Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, ISO).
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years experience in piping supervision within oil & gas or offshore energy projects.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience in onshore topside integration and hull outfitting.
