Piping/Valve/Vessel Supervisor
Join our dynamic team as a Piping Valve Vessel Supervisor, where you will play a pivotal role in the Mozambique LNG Project, a significant venture in the oil and gas industry. This is your opportunity to lead construction activities, ensuring safety and quality while working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
Role Overview
Inspire safety commitment in Client and all Contractors and Subcontractors teams via deep knowledge of HSE and leadership by example.
Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE requirements across works to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to project requirements and specifications.
Manage site works executed by Contractors and their approved Subcontractors in accordance with the Contract Agreement.
Gather and validate ‘lessons learnt’ from the project team and provide feedback.
Prepare, coordinate, and monitor construction activities up to sub-system handover to the Commissioning team.
Maintain strong physical presence at Site for safety commitment and technical oversight.
Verify progress reporting of construction activities per discipline.
Participate in quality surveillance programs and inspect works as directed in approved ITPs.
Support the development of execution plans, method statements, and relevant procedures.
Assist the Superintendent per discipline in resolving technical issues.
Engage in construction planning meetings to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of HSE practices and safety leadership.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills in an international environment.
Analytical mindset with a focus on results and adaptability to changing constraints.
Understanding of critical areas for large complex projects: safety, environmental, cost, schedule, quality, and reputational risk.
Proficient in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Portuguese or French is advantageous.
Education & Experience
Education: A degree/diploma qualification or equivalent in a related discipline field and/or Oil & Gas construction projects.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in Piping Vessel Oil & Gas industrial plants.
Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant specifications, technical codes, standards, and project execution best practices.
