About the Role

We are seeking a Planner/Scheduler to coordinate training and site exposure activities for Perth

?

based personnel. The role ensures all training and competency development aligns with operational priorities, 90

?

day plans, and CMS requirements, while minimising impact on critical operations.

Position: Planner/Scheduler
Location: Perth WA

Working days/hours: 9 days/80 hours a fortnight (Monday – Friday, Monday – Thursday)
Contract duration: April 2026 – December 2027

Pay rate:  Negotiable

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule site exposure and training activities aligned with 90

    ?

    day plans.
  • Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Lab leaders to assign individuals to the right teams, shifts, and mentors.
  • Use CMS training profiles and tools (e.g., Prometheus) to build and maintain accurate schedules.
  • Confirm participant availability, attendance, and activity timing/locations with planners, leaders, and training providers.
  • Track training progress and compliance using tools like Power BI and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Identify training and competency risks, implement mitigations, and coordinate travel requirements with stakeholders.

Experience & qualifications:

  • Suited for an organised, proactive planner with strong systems skills, attention to detail, and confidence engaging stakeholders.
  • 5+ years’ planning, scheduling, or coordination experience in operational maintenance or production.
  • Exposure to the resource industry and experience coordinating operational activities.
  • Skilled in planning tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent.
