The Role
Airswift’s Lyon team is recruiting a Planning Engineer (Ingénieur Planning) to reinforce the planning department on projects including VERSO DEZIR (FEED) and potentially multi?project support within the EPC perimeter.
Working under the supervision of the Lead Planner, you will update and control the Level 3 Master Schedule, support EPC planning development, and contribute to schedule monitoring, reporting, and scenario analysis.
This position requires strong organisational skills, autonomy, rigor, technical excellence, and excellent communication with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & EPC Coordination
- Update and maintain the Level 3 Master Schedule using Primavera P6.
- Support the development of the overall EPC project schedule (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
- Manage interfaces and sequencing between all project phases.
Progress Control & Earned Value
- Perform resource?loading of the schedule using Earned Value Methodology.
- Conduct progress monitoring, forecasts, and schedule follow?up.
- Analyse deviations, risks, opportunities, and propose corrective/preventive actions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare explanatory notes: assumptions, interfaces, critical path, constraints, resource plans.
- Produce internal and external planning reports.
- Support preparation and participation in internal and client progress meetings.
Scenario Studies & Risk Management
- Conduct what?if analyses and scenario simulations.
- Support mitigation proposals to maintain schedule integrity.
Tools & Deliverables
- Primavera P6, MS Project, Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI.
- Use all available project documentation to ensure high?quality, consistent planning deliverables.
HSE & Compliance
Profile
Experience & Background
- 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or Energy projects.
- Strong understanding of Engineering–Procurement–Construction workflows and interfaces.
- Experience with EPC FEED and execution phases is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
- Knowledge of MSP, Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage complex project interfaces.
