Airswift is seeking a Principal Authority Relations (6 months) to work on an outsourced contract, in Rio de Janeiro, with a major Oil & Gas Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the company's focal point with the ANP/SSO and the Navy, monitoring the regulatory framework and advising the frontline to ensure compliance with regulations.
Track regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company's activities.
Propose and present self-assessments and internal verifications as part of Brazil's compliance assurance plan, to verify adherence to ANP regulations.
Support the development of action plans to address gaps identified by authorities and/or internal verifications, and support the frontline in follow-up actions and commitments.
Provide practical support for offshore installations and activities before and during authority verifications.
Provide timely responses to regulatory agencies when necessary.
Prepare periodic reports for internal clients on the level of compliance of offshore installations with ANP regulations.
Represent the company in IBP (industry association) working groups and/or in discussions related to new regulations.
Interact on behalf of the company with the relevant authorities for meetings, audits and/or authorization processes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Higher Education
Advanced English (Required)
Experience with inspections and regulatory compliance checks, especially SMS, IPMS, SSMS and Labor Standards (NRs)
Experience in providing responses and follow-up to authorities
Ability to advise others and work independently
