Currently we are looking for a Principal Avionics Systems Architect to design and certify datalink and interface architectures for UAV/eVTOL platforms, ensuring deterministic behaviour, fault tolerance, and compliance with ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160 throughout the V-model lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Define avionics data architecture and interface control documents (ICDs) across CAN, UART, Ethernet, MAVLink, and RF links.
Lead certification activities and safety analyses (FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA).
Oversee integration, wiring diagrams, harness definitions, and V&V (bench/HIL/SIL, RF link testing).
Required Skills
Proven experience in UAV/eVTOL avionics systems architecture.
Strong knowledge of ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160.
Hands-on with data-link protocols and avionics interfaces.
