Location: Milan, Italy for 2 years, before moving to rotation in Mozambique

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Start Up & Transition Manager to lead the start-up and transition processes for LNG and utilities production facilities in the dynamic energy sector.
Role Overview
- Before Handover: Develop subsystems start-up sequence and evaluate LNG cargo import for cooling down tanks.
- Participate in critical commissioning activities and review compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate reviews of commissioning completion dossiers and operating manuals.
- Develop and validate start-up procedures with the Operations Team.
- After Handover: Lead start-up operations in collaboration with production staff.
- Attend daily SIMOPS meetings and ensure vendor mobilization as per approved plans.
- Assist in performance tests and propose operational procedure changes based on facility performance observations.
- Support operations staff in troubleshooting technical issues and engineering capital projects.
Skills & Qualifications
- Production Engineering: Expertise in LNG, subsea, and utilities plant processes.
- HSE Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
- PTW System: Proficient in Permit to Work systems within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Windows Office applications.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Education & Experience
- Education: Master's degree in Applied Science or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in start-up and operations of LNG, subsea, and utilities production plants.
