Join a leading oil and gas company as a Production Technician II, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting operations in the Wasson Field near Denver City, Texas, ensuring safe and efficient production.

Role Overview

  • Operate and monitor oil and gas wells, production equipment, and facility systems.
  • Perform well testing, gauge tanks, and record production volumes, pressures, and chemical usage.
  • Conduct routine field surveillance to ensure equipment integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain various equipment including wellheads, pumping units, separators, and chemical injection systems.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and perform minor mechanical repairs.
  • Analyze daily production data to identify downtime and equipment problems.
  • Enter and maintain accurate production and operational data in company systems.
  • Coordinate and oversee contract crews and well service operations.
  • Witness oil transfers and verify accurate measurement for custody transfer.
  • Support production optimization efforts to maximize output while controlling operating costs.
  • Respond to call-outs or emergencies as needed.
  • Follow and enforce all safety and environmental regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas production operations and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and production systems).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of oil and gas field experience (production or lease operations preferred).
