Job Title: Project Accounting Executive

Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Compliance
Operationalise the financial setup of project companies upon award, including incorporation, paid-up capital management, and compliance with financial, regulatory, and statutory requirements imposed by local authorities.
Ensure system readiness by establishing bank accounts and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support financial reporting, cash management, and statutory compliance.
Coordinate closely with the Project Management Team, Group Finance and external auditors to ensure appropriate construction accounting treatments in accordance with accounting standards, project requirements, and local regulatory.
Prepare and analyse financial performance, including variance analysis, trend identification, and opportunities for financial and operational improvement to support management decision-making.
Manage project-level tax compliance in collaboration with Group Tax, including tax filings, statutory submissions, and liaison with relevant tax authorities where required.
Financial Planning
Prepare annual budgets and rolling five-year forecasts for OBU projects.
Financial Modelling
Maintain and update project financial models based on the latest project developments or on an ad-hoc basis to support management and project decision-making.
Financial Assessment:
Perform financial assessment on vendors and counterparties, identifying key financial and tax risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
Fund Management, Project Financing & Cash Flow Reporting
Prepare cash flow projections and provide financial information required by Treasury and lenders for cash flow reporting and project financing activities during project execution, in coordination with the project team and Corporate Finance.
Manage project funding requirements, including preparation and coordination of equity and debt documentation.
Ensure timely vendor payments in accordance with agreed credit terms and contractual obligations.
JV managements (if relevant)
Prepare the financial management of joint venture (JV) arrangements, including governance compliance, financial reporting, funding requirements, and alignment with JV agreements.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in financial and management accounting, project accounting, budget preparation, financial forecasting.
Bachelor in
Accountancy or equivalent
Experience with SAP system is an added advantage.
Experience
in Oil and Gas industry
is an added advantage.
Proficiency in BM & English
