Role Overview
- Manage Main Contracts: Oversee the execution and compliance of primary contracts.
- Expedite Contract Deliverables: Ensure timely delivery of contract requirements.
- Develop Contracting Strategies: Support the creation of effective subcontracting and supply chain strategies.
- Monitor Performance: Track compliance with contractual obligations and identify areas of concern.
- Enhance Commercial Awareness: Foster understanding of commercial and contractual aspects within the project team.
- Maintain Auditability: Ensure thorough record-keeping and regular reporting of commercial dealings.
- Participate in Risk Management: Contribute to identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
- Provide Contract Feedback: Offer insights throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage Guarantee Period: Oversee the management of guarantee periods for contracts.
Skills & Qualifications
- FPSO Expertise: Knowledge of Floating Production Storage and Offloading systems.
- Contractual Change Management: Ability to identify and manage changes in contracts effectively.
- Contract Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law and model contracts.
- Pre-contract Management Skills: Proficient in managing pre-contract activities.
- Claims and Dispute Support: Experience in handling contractual warranties, claims, and disputes.
- Commercial Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts commercially.
Education & Experience
- Degree or MBA in Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: 15+ years in contract management covering claims, EPCI, and subcontract management.
