Airswift is seeking a professional responsible for independently leading the development, coordination, tracking, and

execution of Project Controls activities for assigned Capital and O&M projects.

This role includes providing technical oversight, ensuring adherence to Earned Value Management (EVM) principles,

maintaining schedule and cost baselines and supporting project managers through proactive collaboration and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and maintenance of project cost and schedule baselines.

  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track performance.

  • Analyze variances, trends, and forecasts; recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare monthly financial summaries and performance reports for managers and Corporate Finance.

  • Conduct regular touchpoints with project managers to provide guidance and support.

  • Coordinate monthly Project Status Report (PSR) review meetings.

  • Track risks, opportunities, and baseline changes in accordance with project controls procedures.

  • Review and process monthly journal entries for accuracy.

  • Maintain Primavera P6 schedule layouts and ensure schedule integrity.

  • Review variance explanations and ensure alignment with project controls standards.

  • Provide training and coaching on Project Controls and EVM methodologies.

  • Support onboarding and development of new Project Controls staff.

  • Identify and recommend process improvements.

  • Perform special assignments requiring leadership, technical expertise, and independent judgment.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, financial management, and risk management.

  • Comfortable acting as both a service provider and a compliance controller.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6–10 years of industrial experience in financial/accounting/budgeting/risk OR Associate degree with 12 years OR High school diploma/GED with 14 years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

  • Utility industry experience.

  • Experience in nuclear power generation processes (work management, operations, finance, HR, accounting, project management).

  • BWR nuclear experience with EVM applications.

  • Knowledge of GAAP and net billing agreements.

  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 Professional.

  • Understanding of nuclear plant systems, design basis, FSAR, and regulatory requirements.

  • PMI certifications (PMP, PBA, SP, CAPM, RMP).

  • Formal training with Primavera P6 Professional.
