Airswift is seeking a Power Uprates Project Coordinator to support the Power Uprates Program at McGuire and Catawba Nuclear Stations. This role provides day?to?day project coordination with a primary focus on schedule maintenance, stakeholder communication, and disciplined project execution within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
The selected candidate will work closely with Project Managers, engineering groups, site personnel, and external partners to ensure alignment of project activities with approved schedules, program priorities, and overall objectives. The Project Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining schedule integrity, improving communication flow, and supporting timely decision?making across the program.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with program milestones, resource plans, and evolving priorities.
- Coordinate daily activities across engineering teams, site organizations, project management, and external stakeholders to support seamless execution.
- Track actions, deliverables, commitments, and interface points, ensuring timely follow?up and closure.
- Arrange and regulate workflow within and between organizational units; review master schedules, establish priorities, and adjust sequencing based on project needs.
- Confer regularly with Project Managers to assess work progress, resolve issues, and communicate changes driven by engineering or methods organizations.
- Compile reports and status updates summarizing schedule performance, progress of work, risks, and emerging issues.
- Support meeting preparation, agenda development, note?taking, and distribution of project documentation.
- Help enforce project controls practices, documentation standards, and configuration management requirements consistent with nuclear regulatory expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project coordination, engineering support, project controls, or related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting complex technical or regulated projects, preferably within nuclear, utility, or industrial environments.
- Strong proficiency in schedule coordination, action tracking, and cross?functional communication.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with nuclear project coordination, engineering support, or project controls.
- Familiarity with station work management processes, Primavera schedules, or utility project methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements within nuclear facilities.
