Overview
We are currently recruiting Track Project Engineers to support the delivery and commissioning of track construction and maintenance works throughout central Queensland. An ability to deliver within tight rail possession / occupation windows is essential.
Location- Rockhampton
Duration- Permanent, Full-time
Salary- $110,000 - $140,000 + Super

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage track engineering activities across project lifecycle stages.
Assist in the development of scope of works, review track designs, work packs, and construction methodologies.
Support delivery teams during possessions, occupations are completed safely within schedule
Monitor progress, prepare reports, and provide engineering insights to drive project performance.
Site inspections, track walkouts
Work with PM / Construction Manager to ensure projects are on track and delivered within budget
Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external partners to resolve technical issues.
Contribute to safety, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
4+ years on rail track construction projects
RIW Card
Statement of Competency with QR, ARTC, MTM, Vline or Sydney Trains desirable (but not a requirement)
Drivers licence
