Job Description
Provided field and administrative Health, Safety, and Environmental support to the site team. Review expectations with new employees. Provides support for permit to work, reporting for all injuries and incidents. Complete safety inspections and audits on a regular basis. Coach and communicate with employees in the field to ensure safety compliance, positive morale, and a supportive work environment. Required to work at a project site location.
Main Responsibilities
Performs safety onboarding/familiarization conversation of HSE expectations for new people coming to site.
Support required preparation and arrangement for safe work execution (participation RAMS prep and reviews, Last Minute Risk Assessment sessions, and safety conversations with people)
Prepares accident reports/statistics and assists with prevention programs to prevent further occurrences.
Represents Company Worley during any accident/incident investigations of safety violations by construction partners / subcontractors whilst on site.
Ensure Safety Inspections of the jobsite daily, promoting good housekeeping and identifying potential hazards, ensuring that all necessary protective aids are worn by all personnel.
Provides safety input for monthly reports.
Provide hands-on support for project people to increase safety awareness and decrease risk level
Promote a positive safety climate where people speak up, facilitate Worley’s LIFE concept
Encourages hazard reporting and recognizes positive safety behaviours
Approximal 85% field - 15% desktop work arrangement
Preferred Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in the HSSE discipline, gained in the chemical, petrochemical, or renewables energy industry, preferably in multinational environment
Computer skills with packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams PowerPoint and common construction industry document management systems
Skilled in using safety reporting platforms and action trackers
Knowledge of IOGP or similar Oi&Gas standards

Non-negotiables (Minimum criteria that are required for hire, used to shortlist applications)
Intermediate safety certificate issued by recognized EU Institute (NEBOSH, MVK, Sifa, etc…)
At least 5 years’ Experience in working with contractors (construction projects).
SCC or VCA VOL
Good command of German and English language (and other European language will be a good asset).
