Role Overview
HSSE Policy Architect: Support Top Management in developing and refining HSSE Policies and Guidelines to create a robust safety culture.
Safety Strategist: Assist in defining organizational roles and responsibilities, ensuring clarity on safety aspects across all levels.
Standards Champion: Aid in the issuance of HSSE Management System standards that guide our operations.
System Guardian: Ensure the implementation, updating, review, and auditing of Company HSSE Systems are aligned with corporate guidelines.
Compliance Monitor: Oversee the effective implementation of Safety and Environmental System procedures, ensuring they meet current legislation and directives.
Safety Advocate: Motivate and educate Company personnel on the importance of adhering to safety procedures and utilizing provided equipment.
Client Liaison: Collaborate with Commercial, Engineering, and Operations Departments to address Health and Safety concerns with Clients.
Audit Specialist: Conduct internal and external safety audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Investigation Leader: Participate in accident/incident investigations, analyzing statistics to identify trends and suggest improvement plans.
Technical Advisor: Provide technical support to Senior Management on safety-related matters, enhancing decision-making processes.
Trainer Extraordinaire: Conduct in-house safety training sessions to empower employees with essential safety knowledge.
Sub-contractor Auditor: Perform safety audits on subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety standards.
HAZOP & HAZID Participant: Engage in HAZOP and HAZID meetings prior to procurement, installation, and construction activities.
Risk Assessor: Perform comprehensive Risk Assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
Tender Contributor: Prepare Health and Safety documentation for new tenders, showcasing our commitment to safety.
Skills & Qualifications
Expertise in FPSO/FSU/FSO operations.
Fluency in English is essential for effective communication.
Proficient in Incident Command System and Incident Investigation using Tripod Beta Tool.
Strong knowledge of HSSE Auditing Techniques and HEMP.
Understanding of Radiological Safety, Gas Dispersion Modelling, Explosion Indices.
Familiarity with ISO 14001:2015 standards.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent.
Additional professional qualifications in HSSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems are required.
10+ years of experience in Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Fire Services within the Oil and Gas industry, including 5 years specifically in Offshore Hook Up and Commissioning.
