Join a leading force in the downstream oil industry, specialising in bulk storage and fuel distribution. We’re seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-impact projects in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
Key Requirements
- Experience working directly with asset-owning companies in the downstream oil sector (No EPC contractors or upstream/refinery-focused.)
- Experience working with bulk oil tanks and storage infrastructure
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes in the bulk oil sector
- Practical knowledge in setting up and operating fuel stations
- Past experience in Africa
Role Overview
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple sites
- Define scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
- Manage cross-functional teams
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues proactively
- Track progress using KPIs and milestones
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies
- Conduct regular status meetings and stakeholder reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- PMP Certification is a plus
- Proven track record in setting up cement plants, oil depots, or fuel stations is a bonus
