Airswift is looking for a Project Manager to work in a contractor (12 months, with a strong possibility of extension) position in Mexico City for an oil and gas company.
Professional with experience in the development and execution of multidisciplinary projects in the oil and gas industry, preferably related to FPSOs, SURF/SPS and integration of drilling operations.
Experience in engineering, construction, commissioning and installation of surface and subsea systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing and maintaining the project execution plan (PEP) for the FEL3 and execution phases and driving implementation within all disciplines and relevant project activities
Ensuring effective stakeholder management with regards to Authorities, License Partner.
Responsible for ensuring adequate communication and alignment exists within the project management team and line organizations
Responsible for integrating and aligning the various project disciplines and functional areas through open communication and resolution of conflicts
Aligning with Supply Chain, Subsurface, Drilling & Wells, Facilities, Operations, Project Controls, HSEQ, Regulatory and Commercial disciplines for proactive contribution to project success
Managing the Stage Gate Process deliverables, ensuring suitable peer assists, project quality assurance, project reviews and value improving processes are performed
Implementing and managing robust risk management, schedule management and cost management processes
Implementing and managing a robust Management of Change process
Developing and actively managing Contracting Strategy and plans along with Supply Chain
Assisting, in Senior Management capacity, in management of major contracts, including regular meetings with Contractor management organizations
Ensuring consolidation of timely and accurate internal and external reporting including progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist quality decision making
Undertaking the appropriate administration relating to invoice payments in a timely manner (e.g. timesheet approval; milestone sign-off, contractor payments, host services payments etc.)
Managing budgets and liaising with project controls organization for cost control.
Ensuring lessons learned from earlier projects and ongoing activities are captured and addressed
Managing timely hand-over of the completed facilities (including project’s Life Cycle of Information and operations procedures) to operations and support with start-up and initial production

Knowledge of measurement/metrics/planning/tracking and forecasting tools and techniques
Experience in engineering, construction, commissioning and installation of surface and subsea systems
