Airswift is seeking a Project Manager to work on an initial 1-year assignment with a major player in the energy sector.
The Power Uprates Program for McGuire and Catawba Nuclear Stations seeks an experienced Project Manager or Project Estimator to support engineering analysis, licensing, and equipment replacement projects essential for executing power uprates initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage power uprate projects, ensuring compliance with engineering and licensing requirements.
Develop and maintain project plans, cost estimates, and schedules for engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely execution and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, control costs, and report status to leadership.
Support risk management, decision-making, and critical problem-solving throughout project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Minimum 9 years of project management experience, OR 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Proficient in project management principles and cost estimating for EPC activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business (MBA), Project Management, or equivalent.
PMP or CAPM Certification; CMII/Construction Certifications; Professional Engineer License.
Utility technical certifications/training.
Working knowledge of scheduling and cost controls.
Experience in the utility industry and construction management.
