Airswift is looking for a Project Manager to work on a permanent contract in Guyana, in a company that offers pre-commissioning services for FPSOs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage day-to-day project performance — including engineering schedule, cost control, invoicing, and forecasting
Manage client-specific objectives and KPIs to ensure targets are met and actions are completed
Lead internal and external reporting (weekly/monthly) with a focus on commercial accuracy, Estimates to Complete, and Earned Value techniques
Host planning, scheduling, and technical reviews to support offshore mobilization
Liaise frequently with offshore/site crews regarding operations and maintenance activities
Meeting with management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines, and costs.
Collaborate with engineers to determine the specifications of the project.
Supervise the work of laborers, and mechanics and give them guidance when needed.
To coordinate internal and external resources ensuring projects remain within scope and schedule in collaboration with projects staff from various functional departments.
Compiling and submitting projects status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
Evaluate and assess the result of the project
Establish and maintain processes to manage project quality and performance standards of multiple projects.
Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources- including third-party vendors.
Determine needed resources (Manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Report project outcomes and/ or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed- escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps as needed.
Ensure compliance with client HSE, Quality, and technical requirements
Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment.
Ensure that all quality and operational procedures, as identified in the company's Quality Assurance Manuals, are always followed.
Maintain and assume responsibility for the department's policies and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant technical/project management qualification (Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field)
Knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Proven experience in people management, risk management and strategic planning
Extensive experience in Commercial/Technical Project Management
Preferred:
Proven experience in managing pipeline and subsea pre-commissioning projects (e.g., pigging, hydrostatic testing, umbilicals, drainage)
Experience in offshore and/or international projects is highly desirable
