We are seeking a skilled Project Operations Manager to join our team in France, supporting offshore and onshore operations within the energy sector. This full-time contract offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborating with international teams and contributing to the successful execution of complex marine operations.
Role Overview
• Lead the safe and efficient execution of project operations in line with planning, budget, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate all marine spreads involved in project execution.
• Support vessel planning and sequencing for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Contribute to the development of Project Manning Plans, logistics strategies, and offshore execution planning.
• Promote a positive HSEQ culture and ensure compliance with local safety standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Define scope of work for each vessel and ensure alignment with engineering documentation.
• Organize installation feasibility reviews and interface with engineering and offshore teams.
• Determine marine spread requirements and coordinate vessel readiness, audits, and compliance.
• Manage personnel planning, including POB definition, training, and safety equipment.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee logistics for equipment, materials, and personnel, including import/export and crew changes.
• Ensure full readiness for mobilization, including load-out coordination and client access.
• Lead daily offshore operations, manage SIMOPS, and support client communications.
• Track operational changes, non-conformances, and contractual claims.
• Coordinate demobilization and ensure proper handling of equipment and installation aids.
• Participate in lessons learned and contribute to project debrief reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
• Fluent in English.
• Strong operational and logistical expertise in offshore environments.
• Proficient in planning tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to synthesize information and challenge execution plans.
• Familiarity with customs, immigration, and import/export regulations.
• Experience in managing vessel operations and offshore logistics.
Education & Experience
• Education: Technical or engineering degree.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in operations, including at least 5 years in offshore roles aboard installation vessels (pipelay, flex-lay, subsea construction, diving operations).
• Experience with international logistics and marine operations is essential.
