Role Overview
Quality Management Support: Provide primary support to the Project Quality Manager in executing quality management within the project.
Client Liaison: Act as the key contact for clients on quality matters in the absence of the Project Quality Manager, ensuring effective communication and alignment with project objectives.
Quality Plan Execution: Support the execution of the project quality plan, ensuring all quality standards are adhered to.
Audit Management: Establish, update, and maintain the Project Quality Audit Plan, conduct internal and external audits, and follow up to ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Vendor Document Review: Timely review quality-related documents submitted by vendors to uphold project standards.
Induction Training: Conduct quality induction and awareness sessions on project quality requirements for all stakeholders, including vendors and subcontractors.
Quality Notification Monitoring: Monitor & follow up on the resolution of quality notifications and escalations, ensuring adherence to processes.
Performance Analysis: Analyze project quality performance, provide status updates on quality activities, and ensure timely reporting meeting department and project deadlines.
Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with internal stakeholders for quality-related matters.
Vendor Qualification: Contribute to the qualification and selection of vendors/sub-contractors based on quality criteria.
Feedback Provision: Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve systems and tools within the discipline community.
Incident Investigation Participation: Participate in quality incident investigations and assist in resolving incidents promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
Expertise in FPSO/FSU/FSO operations and standards.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal communication.
Proficient in Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9000, ISO/TS 29001, and ISO/IEC 80079-34.
Strong knowledge in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) practices.
Deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
Proficient in root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and corrective action/preventive action (CAPA).
Solid background in welding, coating, preservation, and explosive atmospheres.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science, or a related quality discipline with a focus on quality management or relevant field.
Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent standard, demonstrating proficiency in auditing quality management systems.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
