QHSE Superintendent

Role Overview
The ORA QHSE Superintendent will lead all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of operational readiness assurance for the onshore facilities at Filyos Port. This role ensures that operational readiness activities comply with QHSE standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives, supporting a safe and efficient transition from construction to operations.
Key Responsibilities
QHSE Assurance for Operational Readiness:
Implement and monitor QHSE frameworks within the ORA program to ensure compliance during pre-operations and start-up phases.Risk Identification & Mitigation:
Conduct risk assessments and readiness audits to identify gaps in safety, quality, and environmental preparedness.Interface Management:
Coordinate with commissioning, operations, and HSE teams to integrate QHSE requirements into readiness plans.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to Turkish regulations, international standards, and project-specific QHSE requirements.Incident Prevention & Safety Culture:
Promote proactive safety culture and operational discipline during readiness activities.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain QHSE readiness checklists, assurance reports, and compliance records for stakeholders.Training & Competency:
Support training programs to ensure personnel are competent in QHSE procedures for operational start-up.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QHSE roles within oil & gas or energy projects, with exposure to operational readiness or commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of QHSE management systems, operational readiness frameworks, and international standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
- Experience in Turkish regulatory compliance and local content requirements is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
