Location: Afungi, Mozambique

Rotation: 28 days on/28 days off

Join a leading organization in a major LNG project in Mozambique. As a Contracts & Procurement Quantity Surveyor you will support the Lead Contract Engineer in Contracts Administration activities related to the management of the EPC contracts for onshore package at site.

Role Overview

  • Administer EPC contracts ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Maintain change orders logs and support Contract Engineers in correspondence.
  • Review and validate change order requests and quantities.
  • Analyze Contractor proposals and recommend actions to Project teams.
  • Prepare evidence for change orders and amendments per project procedures.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate requirements into change orders.
  • Process Contractor's monthly payment applications and verify invoices.
  • Interface with Site Management team providing technical and contractual support.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Contract Analysis: Strong understanding of contract management in EPC/EPCC Construction contracts.
  • Construction Law Knowledge: Strong knowledge in construction law relevant to international Oil & Gas projects.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business or equivalent subject.
  • Technical Issue Management: Ability to address technical challenges on-site.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effective liaison with contractors and project teams.
  • Planning and Coordination: Expertise in organizing and controlling project activities.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business School or equivalent.
  • Professional experience: Preferred 10 years, minimum 5 years in a similar role.
