Join a leading organization in a major LNG project in Mozambique. As a Contracts & Procurement Quantity Surveyor you will support the Lead Contract Engineer in Contracts Administration activities related to the management of the EPC contracts for onshore package at site.
Role Overview
- Administer EPC contracts ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Maintain change orders logs and support Contract Engineers in correspondence.
- Review and validate change order requests and quantities.
- Analyze Contractor proposals and recommend actions to Project teams.
- Prepare evidence for change orders and amendments per project procedures.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate requirements into change orders.
- Process Contractor's monthly payment applications and verify invoices.
- Interface with Site Management team providing technical and contractual support.
Skills & Qualifications
- Contract Analysis: Strong understanding of contract management in EPC/EPCC Construction contracts.
- Construction Law Knowledge: Strong knowledge in construction law relevant to international Oil & Gas projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business or equivalent subject.
- Technical Issue Management: Ability to address technical challenges on-site.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Effective liaison with contractors and project teams.
- Planning and Coordination: Expertise in organizing and controlling project activities.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business School or equivalent.
- Professional experience: Preferred 10 years, minimum 5 years in a similar role.
