Join our dynamic team as a Regulatory Compliance Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards within the oil and gas sector. This full-time contract position offers you the opportunity to work on the prestigious Common Wealth EPC project, collaborating with international teams and making a significant impact in the industry from our Nanterre, France location.



Role Overview

  • Establish, maintain, and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adequate reporting to project management.
  • Act as a critical interface point between Houston's operations center and Paris for regulatory activities.
  • Support disciplines on local and national regulatory requirements and inform the draft of regulations impacting each phase.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of the regulatory compliance plan.
  • Establish and maintain a register of authorizations.
  • Support disciplines for the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of FERC conditions.
  • Consolidate data related to labeling, stamping, and import requirements.
  • Ensure all required compliance activities are carried out by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Serve as an internal and external point of contact for regulatory compliance activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong understanding of legislation and compliance.
  • Proficient in regulatory analysis.
  • Ability to work with third-party organizations, local authorities, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Good understanding of the certification process and roles within project execution.
  • Technical knowledge of systems, construction, and testing philosophy.
  • Experience in operations, engineering, construction, and commissioning.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience on onshore projects in the oil and gas sector.
  • Experience with North American regulatory content is an asset; familiarity with Louisiana regulations is a plus.
