Reservoir Engineer (Offshore) Profile Summary
A highly experienced Reservoir Engineer with 20+ years of expertise spanning both Gulf of America (GoA) and U.S. unconventional plays, including direct experience working with an operator.
Core Technical Expertise:
- Fluid characterization and analysis
- Well testing and interpretation
- PVT studies
- Advanced reservoir modeling and simulation
- Strong ability to collaborate across production engineering disciplines
Digital & Analytical Skills:
- FMU workflows
- Proficient in Python for data analysis, automation, and workflow optimization
- Data visualization and analytics using Spotfire
The position:
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams supporting Company's producing assets and projects in development with the aim to ensure optimum value creation as well as risk identification and mitigation.
- Provide insight on reservoir performance at the well and field scale.
- Contribute to forecasting, business planning and reserves reporting.
- Optimize reservoir management plans, advise on energy efficient drainage strategies and perform emissions predictions.
- Build, maintain and/or utilize reservoir simulation models to support field development projects and asset management decisions.
- Contribute to well target identification, maturation, well planning and optimal well placement.
- Review and validate/endorse operators’ and partners reservoir technology work in accordance with Company’s requirements.
- Drive and influence reservoir management and IOR in a partner operated setting.
