A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Sanction Compliance Analyst position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out sanctions screening on counterparties, vessels, cargo, and transactions, escalating potential matches in line with established procedures.
- Track developments in international sanctions regimes and provide practical guidance to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design, review, and improvement of global sanctions compliance policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
- Perform enhanced due diligence on higher
?
risk counterparties and transactions across multiple jurisdictions, and support investigations into potential sanctions breaches. - Assist in delivering sanctions
?
related and general compliance training across the organization. - Support the wider ethics and compliance programme, including anti
?
bribery and corruption, anti?
money laundering, and conflicts of interest frameworks. - Monitor regulatory changes across key jurisdictions and help prepare compliance reports for senior management and board committees.
- Maintain compliance registers covering gifts and hospitality, conflicts of interest, and third

party due diligence records. - Work closely with Maritime, Insurance, and Corporate Legal unit heads within a cross

functional matrix structure as part of the Legal department.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law or a related discipline.
- 3-4 years of professional experience in sanctions compliance or a broader ethics and compliance function.
- Familiarity with sanctions procedures and practical use of sanctions screening tools.
- Ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly to non
?
specialist audiences. - Strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
