About the Role
Airswift is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to join our client’s team in the oil & gas sector. This role will provide contractual and commercial leadership across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with the main contract, safeguarding company rights, and delivering commercial value outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to main contract requirements and protect company rights and entitlements.
- Provide proactive contractual/commercial leadership and stakeholder management.
- Prepare and implement flow-down provisions for subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Issue client notifications within contractual timeframes and formats.
- Prepare, negotiate, and settle claims and variations with clients in collaboration with project teams.
- Manage extension of time requests and variation processes in full compliance with contract terms.
- Prepare and agree progress claims with client representatives.
- Facilitate internal and external risk workshops and maintain the project risk register.
- Support forecasting of project costs and final revenue.
- Assist in negotiation and settlement of subcontractor claims and disputes.
- Provide input into project management reports and senior management updates.
- Ensure compliance with company Management System procedures and Group Contracting Principles.
Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Commerce, or Construction Management.
