About the Role
Airswift is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Engineer – Business Services to support our client, a major player in the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will play a key role within the Contracts & Procurement (C&P) division, driving contracting strategies, managing complex tendering processes, and ensuring efficient contract administration across multiple operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Strategy & Tendering
Develop contracting strategies in collaboration with the DUET (technical counterpart).
Prepare and issue Calls for Tenders for complex and specialized services.
Lead the negotiation and commercial evaluation of bids.
Create Recommendations to Award (RTA) and present them to the Contracts Committee or relevant DOA approver.
Manage the full tendering cycle—from market analysis to contractor selection.
Contract Management
Prepare and maintain an up?to?date list of qualified contractors and suppliers.
Establish and manage complex contractual agreements together with the DUET.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure smooth handover to operational teams.
Maintain and update internal contract management tools and KPIs.
Support contract renewals, amendments, and ongoing contract follow?up.
Risk, Legal & Insurance
Ensure all insurance matters related to assets and personnel are properly addressed.
Assist C&P management with claims, disputes, and litigation, in coordination with Legal, Insurance, and Finance teams.
Propose strategies and participate in settlement negotiations.
Continuous Improvement
Benchmark and adopt best practices from other entities to enhance C&P processes.
Promote the use of existing frame agreements.
Contribute to training and onboarding of newly hired C&P staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience: 10–15 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in technical contracts within an operations environment.
Technical Skills:
Advanced C&P technical competencies
Strong command of C&P tools (advanced certification required)
Solid understanding of operational activities across functions
Languages: Excellent command of English.

Strong negotiation skills
Advanced management and leadership capabilities
Excellent relationship?building, problem?solving, planning, and coordination skills
Ability to manage cross?functional issues and drive complex discussions
Additional Requirement: Ability to train and mentor newly recruited C&P personnel.
