About the Role
Provide control systems support to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Pluto LNG facility. Includes technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, project management of modifications, supplier relationship management, and input to maintenance and process safety strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical support for failures and root cause analysis
- Identify and manage obsolescence risks
- Implement modifications and manage projects
- Maintain supplier relationships and ensure competitive outcomes
- Participate in Field Leadership program during site visits
- Contribute to maintenance strategy and execution
- Manage process safety risk assessment outcomes
Skills & Experience
- Strong commitment to safe operations
- Expertise in control systems (DCS, shutdown systems, fire & gas, PLCs)
- Preferred: Honeywell Experion & Tricon systems experience
- Multi-disciplinary skills (Instrumentation) highly regarded
- Ability to take ownership and deliver timely, fit-for-purpose solutions
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Controls Engineering or related discipline
- Competency in Discipline and Process Safety Management aligned with Woodside TIC requirements
