JOB PURPOSE & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Define and understand the change impacts on people, processes, and technology to define the best approach for change management, communication, and training.
Develop and execute comprehensive change management, communication, and training strategies to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of digital use cases.
Coordinate roll-out plans and activities for different use cases across the organization to ensure maximum effectiveness while avoiding overlaps and conflicts.

ACTIVITIES

Change Management & Communication

  • Conduct use case-specific change impact assessments to identify the magnitude and nature of changes, engaging and guiding the Product Owner in defining the change management approach, documenting potential risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Define use case-specific change management, communication, and training strategies and plans in alignment with the project delivery methodology (e.g., waterfall vs. agile, full solution go-live vs. MVP/Scale-Up vs. agile continuous delivery).
  • Guide and support the Product Owner in executing change management and communication activities for successful use case roll-out.
  • Support in addressing resistance during implementation and reinforce adoption through feedback and recognition activities.
  • Establish feedback frameworks to assess efficiency and efficacy of change management and communication efforts; adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain and develop change management and communication toolkits, including checklists, templates, and best practices.
  • Regularly report progress on change management and communication activities at use case and portfolio levels.

Collaboration

  • Work with the Agile fusion team to ensure alignment between roll-out plans and project management plans.
  • Engage with the Product Owner and Agile Fusion team to stay updated on project progress, challenges, and risks.

Training

  • Analyze training needs of target user groups and personas to develop training strategies and plans.
  • Define appropriate training methods and tools; oversee development of training material for relevance and alignment with organizational practices.
  • Support delivery and facilitation of training sessions and workshops.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to evaluate training effectiveness and update content accordingly.
  • Maintain training records and resources in coordination with Learning & Training teams.
  • Regularly report progress on training activities at use case and portfolio levels.

Post Go-Live

  • Support monitoring of user adoption post go-live.
  • Discuss refresher training needs to increase adoption.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions to identify improvement opportunities for future use cases.

Handover

  • Share relevant knowledge and material from roll-out activities for inclusion in solution handover to support teams for ongoing maintenance.
  • Coordinate handover to nominated representatives for subsequent user adoption and value generation monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Training and Development or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management or Business Analysis certifications are a plus.

Minimum Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years relevant experience in change management and/or disruptive technology implementation roles focusing on roll-out and user adoption.

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools related to disruptive technology implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess change impacts and develop effective strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in digital delivery and transformation in industrial settings is a plus.
  • Experience in project communication and planning/managing training programs.
  • Good knowledge of training authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate).
  • Fluent in English as a business language.
