Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of Drilling and Wells strategies in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Engineer and design high-performance, cost-effective wells using the latest technologies and best industry practices.
- Support planning, programming, and execution of drilling, completion, and workover operations ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Provide technical assurance and peer review of well programs, ensuring designs meet operational, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in feasibility and technical studies, supporting problem-solving and optimization of drilling performance.
- Monitor operational performance against work programs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Engage with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure technical quality, commercial value, and alignment with Company expectations.
- Champion the use of innovative technologies, digital tools, and new engineering approaches to improve well delivery performance.
- Contribute to capability building through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of less experienced engineers and team members.
- Promote operational readiness, risk management, and continuous improvement in all well engineering activities.
- Drive a high-performance and safety-driven culture throughout the Engineering organization.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of well operations.

Required experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Drilling, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of Leadership experience in Wells, Drilling, and Completions, with a focus on onshore drilling and wells operations.
- Proven experience managing both development and production drilling in complex environments.
- Global experience working across multiple geographies and diverse operational settings is a plus.
- Track record in delivering both conventional and unconventional wells, onshore and in complex environments.
- Experience with new technologies, digital tools, and innovative well engineering solutions.
- Strong track record in cost control, budgeting, and operational planning.
- Previous experience with major international and independent operators or service companies.
- Sound understanding of HSE systems, well integrity management, and digital transformation in drilling operations.
- Experience working across multicultural teams and geographies is a plus.
