Senior Mechanical Package Engineer
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Contract: 12 months (renewable)
Rotation / Set up: Monday to Friday

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Mechanical Package Engineer in the thriving oil and gas industry! Role Overview
- Select methods and procedures for project execution while optimizing design within specifications.
- Proactively plan and complete activities and deliverables within agreed time frames and budgets.
- Ensure Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with contractual and internal requirements.
- Utilize lessons learned to understand change impacts across project system boundaries.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties per contractual obligations.
- Act as Package Engineer with technical responsibility for design, procurement, and manufacture of packages.
- Lead engineers on assigned scope of work.
- Serve as Discipline Lead for specific project scopes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Brownfield project experience.
- Proficiency in engineering design and calculation tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical static equipment.
- Expertise in package engineering and manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Experience in inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring.
- Ability to conduct reliability, operability, and safety analysis.
- Effective planning skills.
Education & Experience
- Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
