Senior Piping Engineer (Construction) – Offshore Floating Facility
Location: North East Turkey
Contract: Rotational (4 weeks on / 4 weeks off)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Engineer (Construction) to join a major offshore energy development on a floating production facility. This role will oversee all piping-related construction activities for topside systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise piping installation activities on the floating facility, ensuring adherence to design specifications, codes, and standards (ASME, API, ISO).
- Monitor contractor performance and progress against project schedule and quality requirements.
- Provide technical support during construction, resolving technical queries and site issues.
- Review and approve piping drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project quality plans.
- Participate in inspections, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for smooth execution.
- Maintain accurate records of construction progress and as-built documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in piping engineering within oil & gas or large-scale energy projects.
- Strong background in construction supervision for topside facilities on offshore or floating structures.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, ISO).
- Experience in offshore gas processing facilities preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
