Role Overview
- Piping Class Creator: Collaborate with the Process Department to create comprehensive Piping Classes Summary and job specifications for design and supply.
- Material Take Off Participant: Lead efforts in Material Take Off by developing working instructions, ensuring coordination and thorough reporting.
- Quantities Manager: Utilize Smart Plan Material software for effective quantities management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Specification Issuer: Generate specifications for inquiries and orders, streamlining the procurement process.
- Material Requisition Specialist: Issue Material Requisitions for inquiries and orders, ensuring timely procurement of necessary materials.
- Technical Bid Analyst: Conduct thorough technical bid analyses, clarifying vendor queries and providing recommendations to procurement.
- Vendor Documentation Reviewer: Review vendor documentation meticulously to ensure compliance with project standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Piping Expertise: Strong knowledge of piping material definition and engineering processes, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
- Fluent English: Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
- Bidding Process Knowledge: Familiarity with the bidding process, ensuring successful procurement outcomes.
- Smart Plan Material Software: Experience with Smart Plan Material software is an advantage, enhancing your efficiency in quantities management.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Approximately 10 years of experience in piping material definition, ideally within the oil and gas sectors.
