Airswift is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to work at Savonetta, Trinidad & Tobago, in a permanent position with an industrial Company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and improve existing production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize asset performance, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Manage the development, engineering, and execution of new processes or process improvements, from conception to completion, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Provide advanced engineering solutions and recommendations for re-engineering, equipment upgrades, and troubleshooting complex process problems to maintain optimal plant operations.

Regularly evaluate plant processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to increase process reliability and efficiency.

Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and manage the department's annual budget, providing expert recommendations on capital investment projects to drive long-term operational success.

Lead continuous improvement programs to enhance process performance, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

Develop and present detailed reports on process performance, project progress, and operational efficiency to senior management to support informed decision-making.

Work closely with other departments, including Quality, HSSE, and Supply Chain, to ensure cohesive and efficient factory operations, supporting overall business objectives.

Generate production orders in the ERP system based on the approved production plan and demand forecast to ensure the timely and accurate execution of production activities.

Register production orders and oversee the tracking and analysis of raw materials and finished products to ensure accurate records in the ERP system, provide timely data to the Warehouse/Inventory department, and maintain optimal inventory levels in line with production schedules.

To guide and mentor the technical team in developing their technical skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in process engineering in an industrial or manufacturing environment, in a senior engineering role.

Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and troubleshooting; experience with process simulation software and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.

A track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
