Qualification:
• B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University (mandatory);
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering/project management association/institution will be an added advantage.
Experience:
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in engineering, project management and execution of major EPIC projects in Offshore oil & gas.
• Specific work experience in execution of Process/Gas Compression Platform involving Jacket, Topside, Bridges and Appurtenances.
• Effective communication (presentation, report writing, and management of meetings) skills.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide project engineering and management for offshore facilities in accordance with established project management frameworks.
• Lead and coordinate project teams formed to provide complete project engineering and management for offshore facilities.
• Prepare and implement Project Execution Plans.
• Participate in Project Planning, Cost Control, Budgeting, Contract Administration, Progress Reporting, Change Management and Stage Gate approval activities.
• Manage and coordinate a team of multidiscipline engineers to achieve timely review of deliverables and resolution of technical and engineering issues.
• Participate in the preparation of scope of work, tender packages, tendering process, evaluation of tenders and submissions with appropriate recommendations to relevant Tender Committees.
• Monitor the performance and quality of works by EPIC contractors and vendors and initiate remedial actions to ensure compliance with agreed milestones.
• Contribute to the risk management process through identification, mitigation, implementation, and close-out of identified project risks and issues.
• Facilitate management of project interfaces between EPIC contractors and various project stakeholders according to interface management plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE standards/regulations and Project Quality Standards in close coordination with QHSE engineers.
• Handle the assessment of contractor’s time and cost-related claims; review and recommend settlement of final accounts and variations to contracts.
• Ensure timely project handover and completion, including follow-up on completion and handover certificates, punch list close-out, approval of SPIRs, and SAP-CMMS leading to handover of the project to the asset holder.
• Facilitate timely project close-out process.
• Prepare progress reports of projects for internal reporting and presentations.
• Mentor associates by ensuring they receive proper job training to realize their full potential.
