Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- A higher degree is advantageous.
- Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management institution is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of civil engineering projects.
- Proven experience in coordinating with multi-discipline engineering teams across Feasibility Studies, Concept Optimization, FEED, and EPIC phases.
- Strong communication and team-building skills, including presentations, report writing, and meeting facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to deliver full project management services from initiation through to completion and handover across onshore and offshore environments.
- Develop and implement Project Execution Plans and QHSE Plans for assigned projects.
- Oversee and contribute to planning, cost control, budgeting, contract administration, progress reporting, change management, and stage-gate approvals.
- Manage and coordinate engineering disciplines to ensure cost-effective design solutions and timely resolution of technical issues.
- Support tendering activities including preparation of tender packages, bid evaluations, and submission of recommendations to relevant committees.
- Establish, monitor, and update project risk registers to ensure effective risk mitigation.
- Interface with internal stakeholders, end users, regulatory authorities, and third-party entities (e.g., joint ventures).
- Participate in the evaluation and resolution of variation orders and contractor claims.
- Contribute to the development and review of internal procedures and engineering guidelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and trainees by providing structured guidance and on-the-job training to support their professional development.
