Senior Quality Engineer (Office based)

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Quality Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality excellence for a leading project in the energy sector. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Team & Process Management

  • Prepare and update project quality management documentation

  • Project procedures

  • Site Quality documents

  • Update and maintain the project Quality Audit Program

  • Prepare audit schedules and form audit teams

  • Execute audits (Lead Auditor or Auditor)

  • Prepare audit reports

  • Follow up on corrective actions and audit close-outs

  • Maintain audit records in dedicated digital systems

  • Coordinate quality-related topics between fabrication sites and project office (includes frequent travel)

  • Review and issue non-conformances (NCRs)

  • Support investigations and root cause analysis

  • Ensure mitigation, correction, and corrective actions are implemented and effective

  • Facilitate RCA using 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, TOPSET, etc.

  • Lead group problem-solving sessions

  • Consolidate RCA outputs into reports

  • Present RCA results internally and to clients

  • Analyze data from audits, NCRs, surveillance, and quality KPIs

  • Identify trends and propose improvement actions

  • Coordinate quality programs across all project sites

  • Dimensional survey of modularized equipment

  • NDT cross-checking

  • Interface with Technip Energies teams to clarify requirements and prioritize based on risk and cost

  • Coordinate subcontractor inspection interventions

  • Monitor expenditures vs. budget

Operational & Financial Tasks

  • Engineering degree or significant experience in similar roles

  • Certified Quality Auditor + proven audit execution experience

  • Strong understanding of EPC processes (welding, NDT, painting)

  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of Technip Energies QMS is a plus

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial projects or engineering (preferred: Oil & Gas / Energy)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Experience interfacing with external stakeholders (vendors, subcontractors, clients)
