This position is for an experienced professional to join a global EPC contractor delivering solutions for the energy transition. The role is focused on providing contract management and quantity surveying expertise, specifically for Mechanical Ductwork, Electrical, and Instrumentation work packages. This position supports full asset lifecycle consulting and next-generation project delivery, with significant responsibility for pre- and post-contract processes within complex engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Quality Management
Prepare and negotiate NDAs, compile EoI documentation, and manage full contractor prequalification.
Develop and issue RFI, RFP, and ITT packages, including evaluation plans and strategy papers.
Coordinate bid clarification meetings and ensure accurate recording, tracking, and distribution of all contract documentation.
Project Compliance & Execution Support
Participate in project kick-off meetings and manage contractor correspondence.
Provide contract interpretation and oversee TQs, NCRs, concessions, and site instructions.
Maintain change registers and administer contract securities (bonds, guarantees, insurances).
Performance, Reporting & Close-Out
Track contracting progress using internal systems (CRM, MS Office).
Lead contractor performance evaluations and support contract risk reviews.
Manage final accounts, close-out activities, and proper documentation handover.
Team Development & Continuous Improvement
Mentor contract team members and support knowledge transfer.
Improve contracting processes and documentation quality.
Uphold HSE standards and promote a culture of safety and integrity.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
Strong experience across pre- and post-award contract management for complex engineering projects.
Minimum 5 years in industrial engineering environments (oil & gas, chemical, process plant).
Strong grasp of contract law, risk, and standard forms (FIDIC, IChemE, LOGIC, NEC).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
