Job Title: Senior SAP CAR Integration Consultant

Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)
Location: Preferably Romania or Poland; also open to Czechia, Bulgaria, Slovakia
We are seeking a Senior SAP CAR Integration Consultant to lead integration and optimisation of SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) solutions and connected systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse, design, and implement solutions within SAP CAR (e.g., POS DTA).
- Operate, support, and continuously develop SAP CAR systems and integration with SAP BTP.
- Develop integration scenarios between SAP CAR and connected systems (e.g., S/4HANA, external systems) using SAP Integration Suite.
- Consult on retail processes and technical implementation in hybrid on-premise/cloud architectures.
- Participate in agile projects introducing new functionalities and optimising existing processes.
- Conduct error analysis and provide 2nd/3rd-level support.
- Prepare technical documentation and training materials.
Must-Have Skills:
- Several years of experience in SAP CAR consulting or development, ideally in retail.
- Strong knowledge of SAP CAR modules (e.g., POS DTA) and related SAP systems (SAP HANA, SAP Retail).
- Experience with integration technologies (IDoc, OData, RFC).
- Proficiency in English; German is a strong plus.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Integration Suite.
- Knowledge of ABAP, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Experience in compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX).
