Senior Structural Designer / Drafter – Adelaide (Mining & Heavy Industry)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Designer/Drafter to deliver high?quality 3D models and drawings for heavy industry and minerals projects in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 3D structural models and 2D drawings
- Prepare documentation that meets codes, standards, and project specifications
- Support projects such as workshops, camps, warehouses, modular buildings, conveyors, and platework
- Work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support estimating, progress tracking, and reporting
About You
- 10+ years’ experience in structural design for mining, heavy industry, or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of steel and concrete detailing, Australian Standards, and building codes
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Tekla, Smart3D, Advance Steel, or similar
- Knowledge of BIM / Digital Engineering requirements
- Strong communication skills and commitment to continuous development
