SHES Lead
Key Job Accountabilities
- Foster a proactive safety culture at the fabrication yard and offshore installation.
- Support implementation of the Project Safety Plan and Contractor’s Safety Management System.
- Oversee HSE Audit and Verification Programs; conduct safety inspections.
- Manage HSE Observation Program to identify and correct unsafe behaviors.
- Lead HSE Training Program for workforce competency and awareness.
- Coordinate Emergency Response Plan and contingency measures.
- Oversee Security Plan for personnel, worksites, and assets; liaise with Contractor Security Lead.
- Manage Occupational Health Program and lead incident investigations.
- Actively participate in Lessons Learned Program and HSSE Steering Committee.
- Maintain interfaces with Yard Fabrication Team and PMT to resolve HSES issues promptly.
Qualifications (mandatory):
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Safety, Health, Environment, Security, or Engineering
- OR NEBOSH National/International Diploma, SHES-related NVQ Level 5, or British Safety Council Level 6 Diploma
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in SHES within Oil & Gas industry
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role or oversight of service/vendor personnel
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies
- Familiarity with large-scale operating organizations and SHES management systems
