Position: Site Coordinator Pipelines

Contract: 12 months
- Your role is to establish the monitoring and coordination of civil engineering and piping works under the direction of a project manager. There are two types of projects. On the one hand, the clearing of existing natural gas pipelines as part of interventions and inspections. On the other hand, the construction of new pipelines, including the new H2 and CO2 networks in the Belgian port areas.
- You control the quality of the work: plans, specifications and execution methods, ...
- Your mission is also to guarantee the process for the commissioning of the installations, in agreement with your project manager.
- You ensure that the work is carried out safely. Also specifically for the excavation of underground cables and pipes. You think of technical solutions if necessary.
- You ensure a daily follow-up of the safety rules (control of instructions, VCA aspects, work preparation, etc.)
- You manage the work execution schedule (timing for interventions) and guarantee the coordination of external and internal workers)
- You control the budget: control of the services provided, monitoring of the work on a contract basis by following the contractual aspects, ....)
- You manage the follow-up of administrative tasks during the execution of the work (orders, reception of materials, welding book and as-built plans)
- You know how to work very easily with digital applications (cloud, sharepoint)
GENERAL SKILLS
To succeed in this position, you have
- A Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics/Construction, Civil Engineering, Mechanics or another technically-oriented degree
- A first experience on site
- A good knowledge of Dutch and French both orally and in writing
- Experience in the field of piping, this is a very positive point
- The ability to work digitally with a PC (Software and applications)
- Desire to take initiative and solve problems
- Good means of communication and a Dose of flexibility
- The ability to be proactive and you communicate clearly
- A VCA diploma in operational management and an industrial first aid certificate (or to be obtained within 3 months)
- A fairly recent BA5 basic training diploma (or to be obtained within 3 months)
- You are willing to make business trips throughout Belgium on site, if necessary to live close to the site
