Join our dynamic team as a Site Coordinator for an exciting infrastructure project in the Meuse valley! You will play a crucial role in overseeing civil engineering works for the installation of optical fiber ducts along a significant pipeline, contributing to the advancement of essential infrastructure in Belgium.
Role Overview
- Establish monitoring and coordination of civil engineering works under the direction of a Project Manager.
- Control the quality of works: plans, specifications, and execution methods.
- Ensure the safe execution of works, especially for excavation of cables and underground pipelines, and propose technical solutions when needed.
- Ensure daily follow-up of safety rules (instruction control, VCA aspects, work preparation, etc.).
- Manage the execution schedule (timing of interventions) and ensure coordination of internal and external workers.
- Manage administrative tasks related to the execution of works.
- Work easily with digital applications (cloud, SharePoint).
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics/Construction, Civil Engineering, Mechanics, or another technical field.
- Initial on-site experience.
- Good knowledge of French, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work digitally with a PC (software and applications).
- Initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication abilities and flexibility.
- Proactive mindset and clear communication.
- VCA Operational Supervisor certification and Industrial First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- Basic BA5 electrical safety training certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- Willingness to travel across Belgium for on-site work, including staying near the site if needed.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics/Construction, Civil Engineering, Mechanics, or another technical field.
- VCA Operational Supervisor certification and Industrial First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- Basic BA5 electrical safety training certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
