Sr Mechanical Engineer (Piping)

Airswift is seeking for Sr Mechanical Engineer (Piping) to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
- Have minimum 15 years relevant post graduate experience in Oil & Gas Industry, of which 10 years should be related to Piping discipline Engineering.
- Must be an Expert / Specialist in Design & Engineering of Piping Layout/Stress Analysis/Materials. Mixed experience in Static & Piping is NOT desirable.
- Have worked in at least 2 major Greenfield EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation & Commissioning) and Brownfield projects for Offshore Oil & Gas central Processing Platform (CPP) and Gas Compression facilities.
- Have PMT / PMC experience and able to manage EPIC Contractors / Vendors in discipline related activities for large-scale Projects.
- Have experience in working with Shell DEPs and MESC.
- Able to review and approve technical deliverables with respect to quality, safety to the required standards and compliance to scope of work.
- Able to make recommendations for approval or rejection of technical deviations/Change Request with respect to approved guidelines, codes & standards.
- Able to resolve technical challenges related to Piping discipline and liaise with other relevant disciplines and external stakeholders.
- Proficient and having experience in GRP piping system and design for offshore facilities and able to apply good engineering practices and design as per SHELL DEP and ISO 14692.
- Experienced in conducting evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
