Airswift is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to work with one of our O&G clients in Calgary, AB on a 6-months contract.
The Senior Contracts Manager will play a key role in developing and maintaining a collaborative working relationship with the FEED Contractor to support successful outcomes for both the project team and the contractor. The role will oversee additional supporting contracts that interface with the FEED scope and contribute as an integral member of the EPCM RFP team.
A strong HSSE leadership mindset—demonstrating passion, expertise, and commitment to achieving industry?leading safety performance—is essential. Effective and transparent contract management will be critical to delivering expected performance, ensuring full compliance, and maintaining open communication between all parties.
This position is fully integrated within both the Supply Chain and Project Management teams.

Skills & Requirements
- Extensive experience in contracting roles on major capital projects
- Strong preference for candidates with excellent relationship-building abilities, proven leadership in contractor management, and experience working on major Canadian projects
- Demonstrated knowledge, capability, and competence in the following areas:
Commercial, Technical & Interpersonal Competencies
- Minimum of 10 years of Contracting & Procurement experience (less may be considered depending on compensation alignment)
- Proficiency with contracting and procurement processes and tools
- Knowledge of materials management and logistics within a project environment
- Expertise in project contract management and governance
- Strong commercial acumen, including proven negotiation skills and achievement of significant contract value improvements
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
- Knowledge of pipeline facilities construction and contracting (asset)
- Ability to develop creative, innovative solutions; proactive and self-driven with a track record of meeting project demands
- Understanding of effective local content strategies and application
- Experience working in mega-project environments
- Ability to navigate complex strategic, technical, legal, financial, taxation, and commercial issues
