Position: Stick-Built & Modular Steel Structures Designer
Location: Paris, France 
Project: NZT Carbon Capture Project 

Airswift is seeking an experienced Stick-Built and Modular Steel Structures Designer to support the NZT Carbon Capture project. The role focuses on the design and coordination of modular and stick-built steel structures, including pipe racks, buildings, and associated steel frameworks within a large EPC environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce guide plans for pipe racks, modular structures (RAPs & UAPs), building frameworks, and miscellaneous steel structures.
  • Develop façade and roof layouts, including roofing and cladding systems.
  • Design and detail specific modular fastening systems required for steel frameworks.
  • Prepare and apply company construction standards and project design rules.
  • Review and verify structural drawings issued by the discipline and consolidate comments from other engineering disciplines.
  • Coordinate and integrate client, vendor, and specialist feedback into final design deliverables.
  • Ensure interface coordination between civil/structural and neighbouring disciplines.

  • Unit layouts, plot plans, and building guide plans
  • Structural drawings and general planning documents
  • Project coordination and document control procedures
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Steel Structures / Steel Frame Designer within industrial or EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial facilities, modular construction, and steel framework design.
  • Ability to manage upstream and downstream interfaces across multiple disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of project procedures, document circulation, and design workflows.
  • Experience working to project standards, rules, and study instructions.
  • Strong coordination skills with adjacent engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to read and understand technical English documentation.
  • Capable of technical reporting to the Head of the Calculation Section
