Job Description – Structural Designer II

About the Role
As a Structural Designer II, you will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions to our clients in the energy and resources sectors. You will support conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed engineering design for offshore and onshore structures, ensuring alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and Company's quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review structural design drawings, models, and reports for offshore substructures, decks, and bridge systems.
Prepare detailed engineering deliverables, including layouts, sections, fabrication drawings, and 3D models.
Collaborate with engineers and other discipline designers to ensure coordinated and clash-free designs.
Support design activities across conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering phases.
Perform design verification, checking, and quality control of drawings and models.
Ensure compliance with project standards, industry codes, and client requirements.
Coordinate with drafting and design teams to manage design changes and updates.
Participate in design reviews, model checks, and technical meetings.
Assist in ensuring deliverables meet project schedules and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
8+ years of experience in structural design, preferably within the offshore oil & gas sector.
Proven experience in detailed design, conceptual studies, FEED, and offshore structures including substructures, decks, and bridges.
Strong offshore design background including steel structures, load calculations, and fabrication requirements.
Ability to interpret engineering specifications, industry codes, and client standards.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
