Subsea Umbilical Package and Umbilical Installation Lead Technical

  • Duration: 12 months (renewable)
  • Location: Paris, France
  • Set up: Monday to Friday 

Based in the Upstream Project Office in Paris, France, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring that the umbilical system and its ancillary hardware is delivered to the Project to meet the project objectives.

Role Overview

  • Lead the technical execution of subsea umbilical package projects.
  • Oversee the installation of umbilicals, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the installation phase.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation related to umbilical systems.
  • Act as a liaison between project stakeholders and technical teams.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years in the offshore industry and direct experience in subsea umbilical design, manufacturing, and installation.
  • To follow interfaces between Umbilical and SPS Packages for the Subsea Distribution (UTA, ICJ’s, HFL/EFL, etc.).
  • To witness termination and FAT/EFAT/SIT activities.
  • To support the spooling and packaging of the umbilicals for safe transportation and installation activities.
  • Fluent in English. French and Portuguese as a bonus.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in the offshore industry and direct experience in subsea umbilical design, manufacturing, and installation.
